About the Company - FairCap is a fast-growing, internationally oriented private equity company that acquires small and medium-sized companies from large corporates (carve-out/spin-off) and transforms them into sustainable, healthy organizations. Post-closing, we work closely with the management team to achieve a clear value increase focusing on the sustainable and long-term growth of the company. To accelerate our growth, we are looking for an Investment Associate (m/f/d) to join our investment team in Milan.

About the Role - Selection of investment opportunities, including market research, preparation of business plans, company valuation, due diligence. Market and competition analysis across all sectors and business models. Participation in management meetings, preparation of valuations, indicative offers and term sheets. Participation in all aspects of M&A processes, from acquisition to successful exit.

Responsibilies

Qualifications

  • Very good academic degree (Bachelor or Master) with a commercial, technical or scientific background from a renowned university/business school
  • Successfully completed internships and professional experiences (2-5 years) at renowned companies in the areas of private equity, management consulting, or investment banking

Required Skills

  • You enjoy dealing with people. You have a certain affinity for sales. You are a good listener and have a confident appearance. International experience and business fluency in English round off your profile
