Job Description: The Managed Services Presales Solution Architect will be responsible for designing solutions and building pricing models to support the Managed Services sales pipeline.
This individual will work closely with the Sales Specialist for Managed Services to qualify opportunities, develop compelling solutions, and defend the proposed models and solutions in front of clients.
A deep understanding of Managed Services solutions is essential for this role.
Working as a Managed Services Presales Solution Architect, you'll be pivotal in designing solutions, building pricing models, and driving the customer journey toward a Hybrid Cloud environment in close collaboration with Sales.
Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Pricing:

Design and document Managed Services solutions that address client needs and align with our service offerings, including for example cloud services, IT infrastructure management, and cybersecurity solutions.
Build comprehensive pricing models to support the proposed solutions, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with business objectives.
Ability to work with and leverage the capabilities of external partners to deliver a better and more complete solution.

Collaboration with Sales:

Collaborate closely with the Sales Specialist to understand client requirements, business challenges, and sales strategies.
Partner with the Sales team to qualify opportunities, ensuring they are a good fit for our services and capabilities.
Participate in client meetings and discussions alongside Sales to gather detailed requirements and provide technical insights.

Client Engagement and Solution Defense:

Develop and present technical solutions and proposals to clients, clearly articulating the benefits and differentiators of our services.
Defend the proposed models and solutions in front of clients, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
Conduct technical workshops and presentations to demonstrate our capabilities and value proposition.

Support and Coordination:

Provide support to Account Managers and offer input regarding business development and solution expertise.
Work closely with internal teams, including delivery, operations, and central teams, to ensure proposed solutions are viable and can be effectively delivered.
Contribute to the development of sales collateral, including presentations, case studies, and whitepapers.

Education and Experience Required: Technical Degree:

Technical degree in Computer Science or a similar field of studies.
10+ years of experience in IT Services Business with a deep understanding and practice of Managed Services or Outsourcing.

Technical and Business Skills:

Ability to orchestrate solutioning across organizations to drive deals to success.
Broad IT knowledge and understanding of how it impacts business.
Know-how of emerging technologies, Cloud, Dev Ops, and Containers.
Self-starter mentality with excellent communication skills.
Ability to connect and present to executive level.
Native in Italian and fluent in English.

Knowledge and Skills: Advanced knowledge of Managed Services solutions, including but not limited to:

Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) IT infrastructure management (servers, storage, networking) Cybersecurity solutions (threat management, compliance, data protection) Service desk and support services Disaster recovery and business continuity planning ITIL and other service management frameworks

Advanced Opportunity Prospecting:

Market research & analysis.
Pursuit strategy planning/building.

Solution and Opportunity Building:

Qualification & development of new opportunities.
Due diligence skills, positioning, and deal-shaping.
Business case development.
Consultative selling (analysis, solution selling, relationship building).
Strong leadership skills.
Solution Skills such as vertical industry core concepts, processes, trends, and pressures.
Solution Architecture Skills such as proposal development and business case management.

General Business Acumen:

Financially savvy to meet financial targets.
Advanced knowledge of Managed Service market, across multiple verticals in the market.
Knowledge & awareness of total company portfolio at value add level.
