Woman Rtw Sr. Designer

The position is based in Rome. Reporting to the Woman Outwear, Pants & Leather Sr. Designer, the ideal candidate is experienced and has an eye for trend and the ability to create original saleable concepts that encompass style, color and fabric as directed. The candidate has also a good understanding of luxury products in terms of quality and fabrication. The candidate will manage the research, planning and design of Women's collections for all Outwear, Tailoring & Denim.Main ResponsibilitiesCollections design: research and designs;Assistance in researching materials: fabrics and accessories for making collections;Creative proposal design focus on the 3Rs: reduce, reuse, recycle;Renderings / illustrations drawings and preparation of files (PDF) for their presentation;Passing designs to pattern shop for making canvases/prototypes;Fittings prototypes or final garments and production tuning;Contacts with external suppliers / faconists to follow up on garment making.Profile The successful candidate is passionate for design and fashion industry. She/He will have the following attributes/abilities:At least 5 years experience as a Woman RTW Designer in the Luxury industry;Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design;Excellent freehand drawing / sketching skills;Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop);Deadline oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment;Fluent in Italian and English;Availability for travel.Additional information " LVMH is committed to non-discrimination and respect of each person's singularities.
