RINA is currently recruiting for a

Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

to join its office in

Genoa, Rome, Milan, Lecce (Italy)

within the

Green Energy Solutions Division .
Mission This role focuses on engineering consultancy and design of MV/HV electrical systems concerning power generation and industrial facilities grid connection.
Key Accountabilities Develop plans and make calculations for a variety of elements within an engineering project, draw blueprints and electrical diagrams.
Coordinate direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements, visit sites to take measurements.
Lead direct or indirect support to engineers or engineering teams by gathering data for permit applications and submitting documentation to officials.
Coordinate and communicate with project groups as needed on major projects in the Business Units.
Responsible for the production and performance of assigned projects.
Establish the working relationship with operations management needed to facilitate the coordination and execution of project work, minimizing operational impact.
Responsible for the development of the technical competencies in the engineering scope of works.
Assist the PM during project execution including the definition of resources to be allocated and assets/tools to be utilized.
Prepare progress reports, manage client relationships, change orders or claims, coordinate invoicing activity, and issue purchase requisitions and technical evaluations.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the projects.
Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule.
Participate in and lead risk assessments and actively manage project risks.
Responsible for the technical and contractual close-out of the project and ensure project reporting.
Prepare project estimates, budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
Be aware and understand the Quality Policy.
Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS.
Answer contractor questions on behalf of the supervising engineer, and serve as liaisons between engineering and construction personnel.
Education Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic/TLC Engineering.
Qualifications Mandatory:

at least 8 years of experience

in electrical system design for power generation plants (conventional/renewables) and/or HV/MV electrical systems (preferably gained in an Engineering and Consultancy Company or EPC Contractor).
Good knowledge of

AutoCAD and power system study software (ETAP/DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Neplan or similar).
Knowledge of DIALux (or analogous lighting calculation software) and/or DEHN Risk Tool will be considered a plus.
Good level of English both written and spoken.
