The tenure track will run for up to six years with the possibility of promotion to a tenured position by the end of that period or before. Teaching involves courses in the department's B. Sc., M. Sc., and PhD programmes (taught in English). The Marco Fanno Fellowship, generously offered by the Unicredit Foundation, supplements the stipend for this position. The fellowship lasts for three years with a total amount of €60,000, gross of taxes, paid directly to the Assistant Professor in equal annual installments on top of his/her salary. The current Italian tax law provides special fiscal treatment for individuals relocating from abroad, offering a near-total exemption from personal income tax for an extended period, ranging from 7 to 13 years, depending on personal circumstances.
