Our client is a company that designs and creates industrial thermal systems, part of an important multinational, based in the province of Como.
To empower the 'Project Management' Team we are looking for PROJECT MANAGER - AUTOMATION The scope includes the execution and delivery of a project, independently or as a team, following receipt of the order through to commissioning.
He's responsible for P&L of project, planning, leading customer and engineering in all phases of project delivery including obtaining user requirements, documentation, application configurations, testing, commissioning, and training.
Projects are often of medium or significant complexity in terms of objectives and solutions.
ActivitiesLiaise with customers to help define system requirements.Manages the scope of supply, the economic account and the project program according to the pre-established planning.During the progress of the project keeps the customer and the management informed on all the fundamental stages and on the problems that may arise; uses the company tools for project management to verify its economic progress; actively acts on the programming of the same, works and coordinates to obtain customer satisfaction, applying any necessary corrective actions.Provide technical and sales support.
Generate detailed system design of automation systems to include enclosures, networking, instrumentation, and supervisory systems.Generate Functional and Test Specifications Implement control application software through engineers.Provide commissioning assistance through engineers.
Interface with Technical Support and Field Service Engineers, reporting on follow-up of projects.Customer site visits for: KOM, Update on project.
(Italy- less then 10%, maximum 1 or 2 days.
Most of the visits are made by videocalls).
Operates in accordance with our technical and process standards, defined by the customer.
Collaborates with the company figures responsible for issues related to the environment, health and safety.
Who we are looking for?
You are the ideale candidate if you attained an Engineering Degree and you acquired at least 3/4 years of experience in Project Management Role in the Automation Industry.
The technical background, intended as knowledge of complex automation systems and/or PLC o DCS programming is a must: it's required to assist the client.
Alternatively we are considering a candidate having a consolidate experience as "PLC or DCS software developer", showing interest and attitude to grow as a project manager.
