In 1967 the Société Générale founded the first location in Milan.Commercial Real Estate Division (REL) is a business line of Global Banking (GLBA).
REL is responsible for providing financing solutions for professional investors investing in office, logistics, retail, hotel and other real estate (incl.
multifamily, student accommodation and nursing homes).
Beyond its client basis, REL has extensive relationship with real estate brokers and appraisers, rating agencies, debt providers and investors, insurers and lawyers.Desired start date – as soon as possibleTasks and responsibilities:Underwriting and structuring of commercial real estate structured finance transactions including leading the cashflow modellingAssisting in the structuring and execution of real estate commercial mortgage loans with among others, participation to the redaction of written documents including marketing pitches, termsheets, credit applications and actively participate to any marketing effortParticipating, in close collaboration with appropriate bank distribution forces, to the distribution of commercial mortgage loans through the syndication market or alternative routes using debt capital market techniques or ad-hoc structures based on debt investors' specific requirementsMonitoring of deals in the bookMaintaining close contact with the CRE market and developing a clear understanding of real estate asset management strategiesInteracting with clients under the supervision of Senior Front Officers during the execution phase of transactionsEnsuring full compliance with internal guidelines, and regulation obligationsParticipating in the origination on Real Estate advisory mandatesRisk analysis and understanding of all issues relevant for each transaction (context, aim, constraints related to the assets and/or the legal and tax environment)Financial analysis and modelling of the considered projectsRequiredProfile requiredStudies experience:Bachelor / Master degree from a top ranked business and/or engineering collegeAny Commercial Real Estate specialization is welcomedAt least 1/2 years' experience in Structured financing in banks, insurers and/or private equity fundsLanguage skills:English: C2Italian and/or Spanish: B2Technical, operational Soft skills:Professional command of MS OfficeUnderstanding of the loan market, its dynamics and the related instruments, including credit and rates derivatives to propose relevant financing solutionsCapacity to generate pitch material that is clear, structured, compelling, and comprehensive in addressing clients' needsResponsibilityFlexibility and responsivenessAbility to build and maintain trusted client relationshipsCommercial acumen and persistence in addressing clients' needsProactive approach to develop business adapted to clients' and markets' needsInnovationVery good ability to prioritize tasks and to manage competing deadlinesVery good communication skillsTeam spiritWhy join usSociété Générale Italy is a multi-category bank offering every employee the possibility to have several careers in a professional career path.
