With more than 270 shops in Italy, Spain and Portugal, AW LAB is a laboratory of "urban sport style" trends that offers its customers the coolest products of the moment, suggesting and inspiring them in creating their own style. Since opening its first store in 1997, with the name of Athletes World, AW LAB is part of the Bata group, world leader in the footwear industry, with over 5,000 stores in more than 70 countries.
AW LAB proposes a wide collection of sneakers of the most famous international sport brands and a wide range of exclusive designs created in collaboration with them. The proposal is completed by a collection of apparel and accessories of the leading sportswear brand and by two private clothing labels.
We are looking for a Junior Product Developer to join the AW LAB team, specifically in the product design team. The resource will join a young and dynamic team, working closely with the Senior Graphic Designer to develop the VRL line, AW LAB's in-house streetwear/urban brand.
The resource will have the opportunity to leverage their creativity and passion for urban fashion, combining a hands-on approach in retail with both creative design tasks and analytical activities to evaluate market trends and product performance.
KEY CHALLENGESContributing to the design and development of the VRL line, following the latest streetwear trendsProduce graphic proposals and visual concepts for VRL apparel productsSupport the team in the preparation of sales analysis reports to monitor the performance of the line and identify market preferencesCollaborate on the creation of presentations and supporting materials for VRL collectionsCarry out market research and collect data on trends, competitors and new proposals in the footwear and streetwear sectorREQUIREMENTSPassion for streetwear and footwearDiploma/Degree in the field of Fashion DesignDelivers in a consistent way following department priorities, respecting deadlinesPursues quality in accomplishing tasks paying attention to details and verifying informationExtroversion and relational attitudePreferable direct knowledge of retail and customer dynamicsCreativity and analytical precision: ability to combine a creative vision with a strategic approach, supported by data analysis and reportsOperational and enterprising approach: ability to work practically and manage different responsibilities, even on tight deadlinesGood knowledge of Office Suite, in particular ExcelLANGUAGE PROFICIENCYGood knowledge of EnglishSpanish (nice to have)LOCATIONPossibility of working in Smart Working for part of the week after an initial on-site training period
