Marketing Team Manager

Shimano is looking for an ambitious and talented Marketing Manager who is passionate and knowledgeable about the Bike industry.
As the Marketing Manager you are responsible for increasing the awareness and relevance of the Shimano brands in the European Market.
We are looking for an inspiring, curious, hands-on, and team-oriented leader who will take Shimano Italy Marketing team to the next level.
Using your marketing expertise, you can lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of successful integrated marketing activities.
In this role you will set the direction for the brands for the Italy market covering different fields of marketing such as brand management, trade marketing, digital marketing, and PR & communication.
This is a role for someone who is looking for a challenge and is prepared to be hands-on in their approach.

The Challenge
- As Marketing Manager, you will contribute to the strategic, tactical, and operational plans for Shimano Italy Marketing Team.
- You will be responsible for the execution and monitoring of marketing, category, and departmental plans with awareness of market sensitivities/ Bike preferences along with budgets allocated.
- You will be responsible for setting up departmental goals and KPI to achieve company performance objectives and own development goals.
- You will be representing Shimano Italy team to Shimano European Marketing team and actively participating in European Marketing activities.
- Formulate brands and sales strategies and drive the collaboration between marketing and sales.
Guarantee and supervise all the go-to-market initiatives.
- Oversee branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns (offline and online) along with trade marketing activities and events.
- You should be able to Identify and actively contribute to the improvement and optimization of business processes & organizational development.
- Contribute and lead key projects as Marketing Manager.
- Formulate and oversee the company's marketing budget.
What are we looking for?
- Degree or master's in marketing, in Economics or Business Management
- You should have minimum 7/10 years' experience in marketing field and previous experience as Marketing manager or key leading roles with team management responsibilities
- Experience in an International Corporation or with an international team.
- Experiences in the cycling industry or knowledge/passion for cycling is considered a preferred requirement.
- You are fluent in Italian and English, both verbally and written.
- You should be confident and have clear communication skills that can adapt styles across different markets and cultures both internally and with their external target audience.
- You should be Open for regular travelling throughout Italy & Europe.
