Product Development Supervisor Man Ready To Wear

The position is based in Rome.
She/he will take ownership of the Man RTW collection's development process from initial concept to final product, working across teams to ensure creative designs are translated into innovative products and achieving Fendi quality standards.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Act as a lead contact point and take responsibility for the development of the Man Ready to Wear collection;
- Participate in technical meetings with Style, modelling, Production and development teams to move projects smoothly to next steps;
- Ensure that the Man RTW collection tools/charts are updated so communication on the collection is clear to all departments;
- Work on the development of the Man RTW Collection, coordinating the activities and resources involved in the sample process and monitoring samples production process;
- Review all prototypes and market samples to ensure accuracy in execution;
- Participate during production and development fittings, communicating updated tech packs/specs to factories and following up to make sure adjustments are made timely;
- Adhere to company's product development calendar, tracking Man RTW collection's progress and solving issues in order to meet collection objectives and deadlines;
- Aim to assure quality in the product from onset of development through final production;
- Liaise with suppliers for the progress and return of developments within the scheduled dates and to find the best solution to work;
- Review all components with an eye for quality, and performance.
**Profile**:
- At least 7 years' experience in a similar role within menswear development, preferably in fashion luxury companies;
- Strong knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes, fabrics, woven as well as garment specifications, fitting and pattern making;
- Passion for the product and attention to detail;
- Ability to work under pressure, capable of multi-tasking and coordinating different projects with the Style team and external suppliers;
- Good level of English;
- Teamwork and problem-solving attitudes;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Availability to travel.
