Job Description We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Technology Transfer and Co-Development Lab Technician to join our team at Gnosis by Lesaffre in Pisticci's Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical transfer and development projects for new or existing products to support our business growth. This role is suitable for someone who is flexible, has experience in analytical methods, process technologies, and equipment used in nutraceutical and/or pharmaceutical applications, including analytical development, formulation, and pilot plant production.
Responsibilities: - Successfully operating pilot or kilolab plants;
- Participating in troubleshooting production plant operations of active ingredients for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries;
- Monitoring process parameters during the extraction, purification, synthesis, and crystallization of active ingredients;
- Working on the scale-up and industrialization of new processes for producing active ingredients;
- Handling the technical-science and organizational aspects of specific themes of small projects;
- Analyzing and developing new experimental methodologies, such as upgrading new analytical and process instruments;
- Communicating research results via internal reports or presentations and contributing to project goals;
- Participating in team efforts both at the Plant and R&D level.
Qualifications - Master's degree in technical-scientific disciplines (CTF, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering) is preferred;
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in a similar position in pharmaceutical companies;
- Autonomy in the execution of analytical methods and knowledge of HPLC, GC, KF, and FT-IR;
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations;
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience of QbD (Quality by DESIGN) and/or Statistical Process Control in analytical or process environments.
