Posting Details (Default Section) Posting Number: 20240567T Position Title: Facilities Operations Laborer-Cabrini Campus Position Type: Temp/Intern Location: Villanova, PA Work Schedule: temporary Approximate Number of Hours per Week 20-40 hours/week Department: 814-Cabrini Facilities Position Summary: Villanova University is currently seeking temporary staff at the Cabrini campus to assist with clean out projects, packing and the catalogue and preserving of legacy items. Duties and Responsibilities: Help with moving/storing, repurposing, recycling or otherwise removing all items that no longer belong at Cabrini, to include furniture, equipment, supplies in preparation for building maintenance or new construction projects.Assist with other clean out projects as needed or assigned.Assist with Cabrini library cleanout, e.g. packing and moving books.Catalogue and preserve legacy/historical items of value.Open/Close of Buildings.Assists with other duties and projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to lift 50 lbs with or without assistance. Pulling, pushing, carrying, climbing, bending, kneeling, and squatting may be required.Must be able to develop work plans for small teams of studentsAble to work flexible hours Preferred Qualifications: Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: Will include moving and lifting and require ability to lift objects 50 lbs with or without assistance.
