Having been recently awarded several key projects, NextGeo is once again expanding its team.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Offshore Party Chief who will take ownership of a project
whilst offshore, and the key interface between the survey team, client and shore ensuring that each
discipline within the team is working collaboratively and harmoniously towards achieving the
objectives.

Responsibilities will include:


All survey and positioning activities on the vesselWorking with the Project Support Manager to plan and supervise mobilisation activityCarrying out safety inductions and toolbox talks, issuing nonconformance, near miss,- incident, and accident reports when necessary, and reporting of project KPIs
Ensuring all policies, standards and work scopes are understood and followed by the survey- crew in line with project scope and client expectations
Conducting project risk assessments and project briefings on vesselsEnsuring that technical reports are issued in line with the project reporting timeframesCompilation and client approval of the vessel daily progress reportsEnsuring work is carried out in line with NextGeo and the clients' safety, quality and- technical specifications and expectations (including quality non-conformances)
Planning and monitoring the performance of survey crew members. Holding key personnel- accountable for delivering daily work scopes/plans
Working with the client representative, conducting daily meetings, review, plan,- communicate and coordinate clear objectives and plans
Ensuring lessons learned by the offshore team during projects are on passed to the Project Manager Promoting and acting as an ambassador for NextGeoActing as a mentor and undertaking training and periodic reviewing of the offshore teammembers' performance

57 years' experience in a similar roleCurrent offshore medical and survival certificatesGood command of the English languageExperience of ISMIdeally IOSH or equivalent qualificationManagement or leadership qualificationThe position is a salaried role based on 180 offshore days per year.
