In the role of Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead Engineering for a range of complex systems and services within Energy Industries Division projects in Italy and abroad.Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will ensure that activities related to engineering discipline(s) within the project are efficiently and cost
- effectively executed, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
Your responsibilities Facilitating continuous improvement, acting as a design authority for engineering deliverables in all applicable engineering disciplines, supporting project installation, commissioning and site activities
Identifying and proposing new engineering solutions to meet business and customer needs, and interacting with customers and providers for approval of plant acceptance criteria, resolving open issues, and performance tests
Assisting in the creation and presentation of proposals for engineering projects or programs
Assisting contract managers in issuing claims
Conducting risk and opportunity assessments Importante Azienda the commissioning phase, identifying and reporting potential risks related to contract/quality/program/cost and recommending resolutions
Managing external suppliers to ensure availability of commissioningequipment, systems and services
Developing entry-level engineers and technicians through spreading knowledge and experience, and assisting the engineering team in reaching its potential
Your background A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
10+ years of experience in Electrical field, working as Electrical Engineer with Knowledge of ABB electrical products for Low and Medium Voltage (Unigear, Unisec, MNS), protection, Relion family, digital Excitation (Unitrol) and other equipment such as battery chargers, UPS, battery, DG, etc.
Sound knowledge of energy and renewable market
Knowledge of ETAP, NEPLAN or DIGILENT sw platforms
Experience working on customer sites
Fluency in English language, some knowledge of French is a plus
