Sales And Events Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an Event Manager to join the team in Zuma Rome.
This role will ensure the seamless management of group and events bookings, organising and communicating information to relevant departments, whilst maintain the guest experience.
You will ensure the highest possible standards of service are delivered, whilst pro-actively increasing revenue, maximising covers and developing the management of group and event bookings.
**Key duties**:
- First point of contact to each group reservation, and responsible for the organisation, communication and ensuring a smooth execution of group bookings and events
- To develop a positive and direct relationship with guests and booking agencies to maximise revenue opportunities through efficient and professional service representing the brand, as well as expanding repeat business through relationship building and interaction
- To ensure customer requests, queries or complaints are investigated and administered within 24hrs by the relevant department, and communicating feedback or trends occurring within the business
- To ensure full information in regard to each group booking or event is communicated to the relevant departments regularly and well in advance
Profile
- Natural communicator with great attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with drive and dedication, and with keen interest in sourcing new revenue streams and promoting the brand
- To find solutions to challenging situations, delivering the best option to the guest without sacrificing the operation
- To foster a culture of flexibility and responding quickly and positively to changing requirements
