Project Engineer

who will manage and collaborate with collegues, client and suppliers in the construction of a Data Center in Europe.
DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES
Participate to field Engineering Phase with focus to the Construction related issuesPrepares the Field Engineering Execution plan and defines the necessary resources. Identifies the planning issues in terms of field engineeringEnsures the interfaces with the Construction team (HSE, Construction Engineering, Site material management, Quality Control, Construction Supervision and Commissioning) and assist it as neededManages the site queries including material substitution. Reverts to the Head Office project engineering Manager or Site Engineering Team when needed for securing the technical answers;Keeps record of the changes and additions made to the documents as a result of construction and commissioning requirements, transfer the information to the field BIM coordinator for the model updateCheck the conformity of technical documentation received from the Engineering Team (internal and external) making it available to the Discipline SuperintendentEnsures the analysis of engineering, materials and construction nonconformities assuring the involvement of the competent Engineering dpt in the determination and approval of corrective actionAnalyses the technical aspects of the feasibility of the construction work, together with the Construction field Engineer providing information on the actual on-site availability of documents and materialsCoordinates the engineering activities for site procurementCoordinates Field Specialist Engineer activities in relation with changes to technical documents, feasibility technical analysis, non conformities, review and approval of test packagesEnsures interface with vendor's representativesCollaborates with Construction Manager to plan the material collection from warehouseActivate back charge notifications to vendors
SKILLS
Solid experience in field engineering coordination in complex building construction works, in particular in data center constructionCapability to work in a multicultural environmentGood knowledge of IT programs, (Autocad and Revit is a plus)Availability to travel worldwide------------------------------
