Bring your thought leadership, innovation, and a genuine passion for solving intricate problems across diverse industries, contributing significantly to our customer's success and meeting the dual challenge.As a Sr. Principal Consultant Engineer, you play a pivotal role in providing consulting services, focusing on the implementation of our aspenONE software, particularly within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) domain. Leveraging your knowledge of Yield accounting and proficiency in mass balancing processes, you actively support our clients in deploying the AURA (Aspen Unified Reconciliation & Accounting) application.Within the software implementation consultation, your expertise extends to delivering seamless data integration solutions, ensuring the MES software harmoniously integrates with our clients' historians and other third-party systems. Your creativity in Dashboard design further enhances your ability to build Dashboards catering to our client's specific reporting requirements does adds to the overall customer experience.Your broad responsibilities encompass serving AspenTech clients across diverse industries, notably in oil & gas and petrochemical sectors. With a global outlook, there is the potential for engagement in projects worldwide, allowing you to contribute significantly to the success of our clients on an international scale, as the need arises. Your Impact Lead AspenTech MES implementation projects, gathering and translatingcustomer requirements.Design high-level solutions for aspenONE MES products,including data integration with external systems.Develop technical documents (Functional Specifications, Detailed Design, Site Acceptance Test).Collaborate with Project Management and Sales teams, contributing to the technical and non-technical aspects of projects.Formulate business processes, implement systems, commission completed systems, and participate in proposal development.Conduct demonstrations, training, requirements analysis, and system design workshops.Prepare and adjust training materials for MES products and relatedintegrations. Drive the delivery of various MES solutions to new and existing customers.Strive to learn other aspenONE products outside of MES, becoming an expert in configuring and using various platforms .Design and implement enterprise-wide visualization and collaborationsolutions using AspenTech products or Power BI.What You'll Need MES software implementation experience in process industries.Knowledge of Yield Accounting, Oil Movements systems, and integration with upstream/downstream processes.Programming languages: .NET, GraphQL , C++, JSON, JavaScript.Web development experience: ASP.NET, React, Node.js.Real-time databases/RDBMS experience (Oracle, MS SQL Server) and historians.Best Practices knowledge within Cloud Platforms and Networking, Network Infrastructure, Web Server Administration, and Database Services is nice to haveMulti-project experience as a technical lead in systems implementations.Familiarity with systems integration technologies (MS SQL Server, Oracle, SAP, historians).Excellent communication and presentation skills in English;additional languages a plus.Strong problem-solving skills, leadership, and grit.Inquisitive nature, appreciates complexity, and thrives in troubleshooting and problem-solving.Team player with strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.Ability to travel (typical 25% to customers' sites ) .About Us If you're looking to make a difference every day and push the limits of performance, AspenTech is doing things no one else thought was possible.
