Thales Alenia Space in Rome is a leader in Assembly Integration and Test (AIT) of Satellite systems and subsystems.
We have embarked on an ambitious journey to use Digital as a key enabler for growth and being a worldwide reference in Satellite AIT operations.
In order to support the Industrialization and Innovation of the Company, which includes Industrial Management, R&D and Industry 4.0 deployment", we wish to recruit an Information System Specialist.
This person will report to the "Head of Industrialization Innovation and R&D Manager" within the Competence Center "Assembly Integration and Testing Italy", he/she will also work in collaboration with the CCAIT Departments and the Company Information System/Information Technology Authority.
To support those activities the Information System Project Manager must provide professional to join our Industrialization and Digital Transformation teams, supporting the Industrial Strategy decision, the Industrial processes monitoring/optimization and the digital transformation initiatives in terms of Industry 4.0.
In this role you will cross-functional Digital teams, IT and consulting partners to help them solve for complex problems and needs.
We have bold digital initiatives in motion in Digital core, Digital Design, Digital Supply Chain and Digital Manufacturing.
We are transforming core business processes of AIT and building new technical and business capabilities tied to our business strategy.
You will
be leading Industry business IS/IT architecture, project management, process design, and stakeholder communications.
**Your role in this team will be**:
- Review the entire AIT Value Chain lifecycle and derive Information System strategy (Digital Platform Architecture, Digital Technologies deployment, Culture, People & Governance) towards a data-driven and customer focused organization.
- To manage industry 4.0 IS projects in the frame of the Smart Space Factory
- To support users collecting business requirements, enhancing current solutions and deploying new solutions
- To support colleagues in information systems to define the integrations between the new and current solutions
- Identify and develop IS/IT digital innovations to reduce operational inefficiencies and transform work processes.
- Facilitate organization's understanding of good digital experience and use data-driven methods to enhance customer digital engagement.
- Contribute to the design of technology solutions pertaining to user experience, data quality and security.
- Derive KPIs, driving outcome and adoption for digital transformation within the organization.
- Drive digital initiatives to change current way of working based on data driven organization
- Act as Information System focal point for Competence Center, i.e.
act as business representative by bringing the voice of the team among central projects, deploy corporate tools, cascade information at local level.
- Develop automation of processes currently performed manually with high workload and repeatability
- Analyses feasibility and Process breakdown
- Concur to write the URD of the Information System architecture identified, support the design and deployment phase at TRL9.
- Drive the change management phases by communicating on the new solutions and accompanying colleagues in their usage of the new tools.
- Steer any improvement that could update the value delivered by the department, i.e.
guaranty process robustness, build efficient performance monitoring.
**Key responsibilities**:
As part of the Smart Space Factory core team you will:
- Be the Industrial focal point for Industry 4.0 "Information System" projects PLM, ERP, MES, DATA LAKE, IoT and Cybersecurity.
- Jointly write the specification and statement of work to start new call for tender
- Collect the requirements and prepare the documents which will allow to define the architecture, select the preferred solution and the technological partners to integrate the solutions
- Jointly plan and evaluate budget and organization to manage the projects
- Coordinate the activities and resources all along the projects
- Test and validate the solutions
- Manage the deployment
- Once the solution will be deployed you will be the IS referent to support the users, to manage the incidents, to collect the user needs to enhance the solutionsThe position will be in Rome.
