Apply now to take the next step in your careerThe PositionIn agreement with the Plant Director, ensures the implementation of production programs in compliance with the annual objectives regarding time, both in qualitative and quantitative terms, to optimize costs and resources.Main Responsibilities:Collaborates with planning to define/rationalize production cycles, analyzing yield and deviations.Ensures the execution of production planning with a view to continuous improvement of yields and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), legal requirements, as well as approved timelines and costs.Collaborates with company functions for the continuous improvement of plant efficiency and for any related change activities.
Identifies plant interventions to improve yields and the technological development of the plants.Monitors the correct execution of maintenance activities on the plants, verifying their effectiveness.Coordinates and controls the operation of the plant related to production parameters, identifying corrective measures to maintain the product within defined characteristics and yield.Supervises the correct completion of Batch Records in compliance with GMPs and company procedures.Participates in the implementation/execution of validation protocols, ensuring that operations are carried out according to instructions, noting any deviations and/or proposing modifications, instructing team personnel on the correct methods of carrying out and recording operations.Coordinates and supervises process improvement activities in production in compliance with quality and safety standards, with the aim of reducing costs and execution times and improving quality.Identifies and proposes training and technical training activities for production personnel.Ensures compliance with production procedures by subordinates and provides training, to his/her direct reports, on Company procedures after revisions or new releases.Actively participates in inspections and ensures the implementation of relevant corrective actions.Ensures the management and development of personnel, respecting and enforcing the Company Regulations, Contractual Rules, and those in force regarding Quality, Environmental Protection, and Occupational Safety issued by the competent functions (HR, QA, and SPP).Requires compliance by individual workers with current regulations, as well as company provisions on safety and hygiene at work, and the use of collective protection means and individual protective devices made available to them and ensures tempestive reporting to the RSPP of any non-conformities (NC) detected by their subordinates or themselves.Specific Skills, Educational Requirements, and Experience:Degree in Chemical EngineeringConsolidated experience in the role (chemical/pharmaceutical industries)In-depth knowledge of the quality system (GMPs)Ability to define new procedures and standardize processesOrganisational, planning and analysis abilitiesProblem solving and teamworkCommunication and leadership skillsAt Alfasigma, we believe in fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
