Aptuit (Verona) Srl is seeking a skilled GL Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. Reporting to the Head of Accounting Italy, he/she will be responsible for managing journal entries, asset and intangibles accounting and accounts reconciliations, across two legal entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Fixed asset accounting
Intangibles and IFRS16 accounting
Account analyses and reconciliations
Posting of provisions and accruals
Support in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and ITA GAAP
Support in the preparation of reporting package for the Group
Support in the statutory / fiscal periodical tasks
Audit support (internal and external audits)
Control owner for some SOX controls
Ideal Qualifications:
University degree in Accounting or equivalent
5+ years experience in Accounting
Knowledge of accounting principles
Experience of working in an international environment
Experience in Controlling department is a plus
Experience in auditing firm is a plus
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Business fluent in English
