Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Resort Manager to lead the pre-opening and operational phases of our new Aethos Sardinia Hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in hotel management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering unparalleled guest experiences. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining the highest standards of service, ensuring the smooth operation of all hotel departments, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Essential Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the executive team to contribute to the development of the hotel's pre-opening strategyTrain, and supervise a team of dedicated staff members for various departmentsOversee the procurement of necessary equipment, supplies, and inventory controlsImplement standard operating procedures and policies to ensure seamless operations from day oneDirect day-to-day hotel and F&B operations to meet and exceed guest expectationsFoster a culture of exceptional guest service, ensuring that all staff members embody the hotel's commitment to excellenceMonitor and evaluate the performance of all departments, implementing improvements as neededManage budgeting, financial planning, and reporting to achieve optimal financial results, drive revenue and profitability with full P&L responsibilityCreate an environment that anticipates and exceeds guest needs, setting the standard for luxury hospitalityCore CompetenciesFluent in English & Italian is a must3+ years of proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar executive leadership role and pre-opening experience desirable.Capable of creating a passionate, friendly, and high thriving work environmentCollaborative and communicates well to provide direction/delegation to efficiently accomplish tasks at handMust be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in generalResearch, organizational skills, and extraordinary relationship-building skillsAbility to multitask and execute under pressure and in demanding fast-paced environmentsStrong communication (both written and oral) and management skills.
