This role requires significant collaboration with the Innovation and Product Development teams, the Legal Department, and external IP firms to effectively secure and manage the intellectual property that provides a competitive edge for the DeLonghi Group.
Principal Accountabilities:Prior art researchesFreedom to Operate (FTO) analysisDrafting and prosecution of patent applications in De'Longhi Group's Innovation and Product Development centres in Italy, the UK, and Germany.Monitoring of deadlines and ensuring proper docketingDevelop Patents Landscapers in relevant areas to identify open spaces for innovation and patent coverageDetecting infringement by competitors and developing enforcement strategies against infringement.Job ProfileQualifications, Knowledge:
Proven experience (3-5 years) in the roleMaster's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or another equivalent technical degreeFluent both in Italian and in EnglishEuropean or at least a National qualificationAnalytical skills and precisionBusiness mindset, with strong communication skillsStrong team-building attitude and problem-solving approach
