**General Job Function**:
Robotic Welding Engineering Lead is a SME (Subject Matter Expert), specifically for the robotic technology applied to the welding processes and systems. He/she has developed specialized knowledge and is recognized as an experienced engineer in both welding engineering and programming robotized welding systems. He/she continuously thinks strategically, challenges, and innovates in support of achieving the Engineering goals. He/she has also to guarantee quality and compliance of the weld in full compliance with applicable Codes, design requirements, technical specifications, standards and contractual requirements. To achieve this scope he/she issues programs, technical documentations and procedures verifying that those are defined for the fabrication; He/she may teach and support other operators for the execution of the programs he provides for the specific robotic welding. He/she may interact with internal or external stakeholders to ensure that engineering deliverables are aligned with the technical scope requirements, received concurrence with the client (if necessary), and are compliant with contract requirements.

Per raggiungere questo scopo emette programmi, documentazione técnica e procedure verificando che siano compatibili per la fabbricazione; Può insegnare e supportare gli operatori per l'esecuzione dei programmi da lui forniti per la saldatura robotizzata specifica. Può interagire con gli stakeholder interni o esterni per garantire che i documenti ingegneristici siano allineati con i requisiti dell'ambito tecnico, e che ricevano l'approvazione del cliente (se necessario) e siano conformi ai requisiti contrattuali._
**Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority)**:

Robotic implementation in welding activities (programming robots for welding joints with complex geometries and hardware solution dedicated to production activities); fundamentals of robot hardware and software; knowledge of mechanized and automated welding processes; predisposition for implementation of innovative technologies and devices, in-house and commercially available welding heads and generators.

Realization of prototypes aimed to the validation of welding solution design. Use of process engineering fundamentals applied to welding procedures.
