The company has 8 fabrication yards and an offshore fleet of 23 construction vessels (of which 21 owned and 2 owned by third parties and managed by Saipem) and 15 drilling rigs, of which 8 owned. Whitin theBusiness Line Energy Carriers, the department of Project management, is looking for a PROJECT MANAGEMENT ENGINEER Coordinates the preparation of reporting for specific activities of the project execution as defined, case by case, by the PMAssists the Project Manager during project planning, e.g. preparation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and other project procedures and plansAssists in the allocation resources and in the assessment of the man-hours required in order to prepare/update the Project Mobilization Plan (PMP)Coordinates specific activities (internal or external to the project), related but not limited to project management, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, at home office or at sitePrepares the Project External Interfaces Management Procedure and identifies, categorizes and manages the Project External InterfacesPrepares the Project Risk Management Plan, manages the risk assessment and risk response activities issuing and quarterly updating the Project Risk RegisterPrepares the Vendor Assistance on Site Procedure, manages the Project Vendor Assistance on site from the notification of Vendor intervention until the completion of the Vendor services, monitoring costs, reviewing the schedule of the interventions, reporting periodically on the status and criticalities of the activitiesPrepares the Project Guarantee Claims Management Procedure with Vendors and – during the guarantee period - ensure the fulfilment of the guarantee requirements by Vendor. Prepares the Project Guarantee Claims Management Procedure with Client and – during the guarantee period - manages the process of notification, reparation and closure of any issues on guarantees raised by ClientPrepares the Project Back Charge Procedure and supports the management of the back charges work processAssists in managing change orders and claims, and supports dispute resolution activitiesSupports the continuous monitoring of specific critical supplies contributing to the achievement of expected milestones and the resolution of technical and contractual issuesRequirements/Qualifications Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline
A minimum of 4 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects management
Nice to Have: Experience in large scale projects; Exposure to different roles within the oil and gas/new energies/floaters projects in fields as design management, planning, contract management, and/ or cost management is a plus; Record of working within global large teams in multi-disciplinary projects is highly preferred;
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and team-working skills
Location : Milano HO. Availability to worldwide / remote area relocation Contract type:permanent, salary packagecommensurate with the level of experience
