Our vision is to make the world a more empathetic place with great stories to be shared and enjoyed by anyone, anywhere, anytime. We are now looking for a Marketing Manager for the Italian Market.
The role and team In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing all marketing activities for Storytel Italy, ensuring they align with both short-term and long-term goals, including customer acquisition targets.
Working in collaboration with our central marketing team and Italian Country Manager, you will identify new opportunities for growth and brand loyalty. You will also closely cooperate with internal departments such as Content and Partnerships, as well as with external collaborators. The role includes both strategic and operational elements and you need to be the "Swiss army knife" for marketing. The role is based in Milan and will report to the Italian Country Manager.
Responsibilities Define and manage a yearly marketing planCost control and follow-up on the marketing budgetContribute with local expertise in Italy strategy workPlan, manage and execute marketing projects and campaigns for e.g. category building and storiesConduct after-action reviews & share learningsCooperate with external collaborators around e.g. social media management, press office, influencers and partnershipsManage online campaigns and some asset creationSupport and collaborate with central marketing teams to optimise performance marketing, SEO, A/B testing, CLM etc.About you To be successful in this role, we believe that you have/are:
Solid experience in a similar positionFluent in Italian and English, both written and spokenExperience from creatively setting up offline and online campaigns with a big impact in relation to inputExperience from B2C, ideally digital subscription serviceExperience working with partnerships and influencersExperience working with project managementCommercial mindset and a can-do attitudeA team player that thrives in new challenges and ever-changing circumstancesTo thrive in this role, we believe you are not afraid to take initiative and act on opportunities and potential to improve. Furthermore, you have a growth mindset, extensive experience in a digital environment and data-driven decision-making.
