**About the Role**:
The Direct Import Specialist will be a key member of our growing Product Development Team.
You'll be responsible for:
- Working with Product Development and Sales Operations on shipment schedules to ensure on-time correct deliveries
- Working cross-functionally with Sales to track timeline progress and provide updates and reports
- Gathering item specific data from the Product Development department internally
- Keying in import quotes to retailer systems and platforms
- Owning purchase order edits and pulling purchase order reports for internal review
- Becoming an expert and owning the process improvements required for successful outcomes
- Supporting clear and concise ongoing communication with our retailer partners' global sourcing teams

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Undergraduate degree and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Consumer product goods industry experience is necessary
- Experience partnering with or working for Walmart's direct import teams is a major plus
- Experience with _Retail Link_ Platform preferred
- Expert in communicating and understanding technical product information
- Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English is required
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, and tactical skills
- Incredible degree of patience and ability to think clearly and strategically in ambiguous situations
- Manage work under mínimal supervision and handle numerous tasks in an efficient and timely manner
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to a process
- Entrepreneurial mindset - you're a self-starter and drive things to conclusion
