Cnc Machinist

Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in RIDC Park, Nidec Vamco Corporation is a fast-growing manufacturer and a global leader in the design of high-speed servo equipment for the metal stamping industry.
Position Summary: The CNC Machinist sets up and operates conventional and CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic parts.
Essential Functions: Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.Set up, operate, edit, and program CNC machines and machining centers.Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders.Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and/or vocational-technical school.Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.Benefits: Competitive Pay.401(k) Program with company match.Health Insurance.Affordable Dental and Vision Insurance.Company Paid Disability & Life Insurance.Paid Vacation.Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V
