Your role and responsibilitiesThis role will support the Local and Global Electrification Communication objectives and work as a strategic advisor to the local M&S Leader driving key communications activities for ABB Electrification business communications in the country as well as SB/SP Division communications. The role is highly collaborative as it works with various functions and communications teams to ensure proactive and effective communications across multiple channels and stakeholders. You will be a member of the local Electrification leadership team. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
Owning ABB Electrification communication plan in the country including the editorial calendar & Electrification narrative locally for trade media, digital communications, and thought leadership. Collaborating with Country Communications for any Tier 1 or financial media relations requirements.Leading trade media relations and content for press releases and social media channels. Owning content for communications channels reaching a broad public, such as social media and websites. Leading paid and earned media including advertising.Owning the application of the ABB brand locally and awareness campaigns, not lead generation. Localization of global thought leadership or local development of thought leadership supporting division priorities.Leading communications efforts for cross-divisional events, trade shows, and conferences. Building cross-business area and functional teams to contribute to the effort.Oversight & process for Electrification employee communications, point of contact for factories. Ensuring positioning and impact of the electrification related content in local external and internal communications channels.Following global KPIs to track and improve communications effectiveness across various media and channels. Maintaining effective measurement and monitoring workflow for their area of scope.Owning the Electrification business area communications budget for the country and ensuring transparency and support across Electrification for the budget. Creating a community of Electrification Communicators in the country.Developing a local communication plan with local Marketing & Sales leadership in line with division priorities and global communication plans, and collaborating on digital marketing content/messaging with local Marketing leader.Leading communications locally for the lead division in the country, aligning comms resources with biz structure to support oversight countries where applicable.Qualifications for the roleDegree in communications or related field and minimum 4 years of experience in the field of Communications in a B2B and B2C environment (ideally technical/industrial environment).Proven experience in supporting communication across all channels.Strong written and spoken communication skills. Effective storyteller.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with on-time delivery.Work on measurement KPIs and reporting to help track performance and learnings.Team player who thrives by contributing to the success of the team and the business.Ability to travel and work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours as needed.More about usWe value people from different backgrounds.
