Company Description VHIT S.p.A (Vacuum & Hydraulic Products Italy) is an Italian company, part of the international group Weifu High-Technology Group Co., Ltd, a leading supplier of Original Equipment automotive components in the Asian Market.

With over 60 years of history, our Business Unit represents for the group the European hub in the supply of pumping systems for combustion engines and electric motors.

We are located in the Crema area and operate mainly in the field of Vacuum creation, Oil cooling and lubrication.

We supply the Western major automotive companies and grow as a mechatronics business organization.

At our headquarters, R&D, Production, Sales and all related staff work in synergy, totaling about 500 employees.

Job Description We are looking for a motivated Junior Project Buyer to join our Purchasing Department.

As a Project Buyer, you will play an important role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the procurement process for direct materials from project acquisition to start of production, ensuring cost, timing, and quality targets are met.

As part of the project buyers' team, you will:

Collect and verify project requirements for direct materials, working closely with the project core team and stakeholders; Be responsible for the cost, timing and quality targets during new business acquisition and project development; Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the industrialization phase and coordinate the activities for technical-industrial feasibility. In the end, you will live in an international environment having relationships with different cultures.

Qualifications Education: The ideal candidate has a degree in mechanical or management engineering or similar background.

Experience and Know How: Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Technical knowledge: Critical understanding of technical packages including drawings and specifications, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP will be a plus.

Language skills: Good level of English.

Personal characteristics: Goal-oriented person, team player, and problem solver with analytical capacity and flexibility; proactivity and willingness to take responsibilities.
