YOUR ROLE
You will contribute to the current dynamic transformation of the automotive market, driven by the development of new electronic applications, especially in the field of electrification, functional safety and autonomous vehicles.
You will be part of the French-Italian team, reporting to ST's AUTOSAR automotive domain, responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of ST's AUTOSAR software products (typically, configurable and standardized drivers dedicated to ST's automotive microcontrollers).
The AUTOSAR software architecture is a worldwide standard required by all players in the automotive market. ST AUTOSAR drivers are integrated by major automotive players (integrators, OEMs, manufacturers) in multiple applications (communication network, battery management/charging, radar, domain controllers...). The multi-site team is in Le Mans in France and Naples in Italy.
It addresses international customers and partners. Hence the importance of a good knowledge of English.
You will participate in ST driver development and/or integration activities for the next generation of ST microcontrollers for the automotive sector, based on ARM cores, such as AUTOSAR driver development activities:
Analysis of technical requirements
Modelling, coding, unit testing and associated technical documentation.
Compliance with ST development process requirements (MISRA coding rules, code coverage, requirements traceability, code reviews...) according to ASPICE quality and ISO26262 functional safety standards and ISO21434 standards for SW cybersecurity.
Customer support through ticket analysis and delivery of software corrections or evolutions.
AUTOSAR driver integration activities:
Continuous integration of the internal development environment:
Adaptation of the environment (coding, scripts)
Integration of tools and drivers
Execution of non-regression tests on all supported platforms
Delivery of a new functional version of the development environment
Preparation of the software version of AUTOSAR MCAL ST products delivered to external customers:
Preparation of the product delivery environment
Integration and verification of the software version of the product
Working in close cooperation with the software project manager.
PROFILE
Degree/Experience Engineer, Master's degree in Electronics/computer integration
Experience in low-level software development (code, debugging, knowledge of standard microcontroller peripherals, ARM cores)
Technical skills / Tools C language, XML
