We boldly go.Job Summary:Manages the overall operation of the plant accordingly to strategies and policies of the companyEstablishes and achieves short- and long-term objectives and the overall viability of the organization, in order to produce customer orders in compliance with safety, quality, costs and deadlines.Leads the day-to-day activities within a plant to achieve the short and medium-term financial and operating objectives set by the overall organization business plan.Advises on strategic and highly complex projects and provides necessary support to ensure the successful implementation of plant initiatives, as well as all new product introduction and process improvement projects.Follows-up of investments and monitoring of financial resultsRelations:Reports to the "Operations leader Italy"Interacts frequently with internal contacts at all levels of the plant to foster and promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, high levels of morale, and high employee engagementRepresents the plant leadership with external contacts.Collaboration and partnership with different departments such as: Human resources,Quality,Manufacturing engineering,Logistics,ProductionSalesAs well as all the employees of the siteResponsibilities: Results of a production site: Safety, financial, on-time delivery, maintenance of quality levels, operational productivity and the establishment of the capacity of manufacturing processes aligned with customer demandsSafety and EnvironmentProduction of the unitsSupply chain part: order book management, material management and unit shipments to customersManufacturing methods and processes as well as continuous improvementEnsuring and organizing : The management of a team of managers related to the activity of a production siteEmployee health and safetyIdentification and implementation of environmental projectsMonitoring of quality indicatorsDevelopment of plant policies and procedures and guidance on their implementation.The implementation of Lean indicatorsMonitoring the order book and adjusting the workforceDaily monitoring of production results in terms of costs, quality and deadlinesRegular reporting as required per company standardsIdentification and follow-up of continuous process improvement projects in alignment with transformation and investment plansFollow-up of new product introduction projectsQualifications:Proficiency in Windchill, Oracle R12, MES and office pack (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)Knowledge of ERP, PLM tools and their general functioningKnowledge of the order cycle and the different impacts at each stageFluency in English and ItalianIn-depth knowledge of Lean toolsProduct knowledgeKnowledge of manufacturing processesKnowledge of Quality processesKnowledge of Informatic SystemsKey Competencies:Very good interpersonal skills with good communication and listening skillsDiverse decision-makingManagement of a team of managersManagement of a production site in terms of financeWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
