This position reports to Service Sales Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology. Each day, you will determine costs, prepare final documentation, and serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential causes, and recommending future actions. The work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid. You will be mainly accountable for: Supporting the local Sales & Proposal Team and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers. Preparing/supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives. Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from the general market and the Sales organization. Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicating it to the Sales organization. Cooperating with the Global Network of ABB Marine & Ports. Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled in complex bidding offering portfolio, with careful focus in electrical design for proposals. You have 5 years of experience in a technical/commercial support role, for example as an inside sales employee. You are passionate about teamwork and problem solving. Degree in a technical field, such as electrical engineering. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English. Availability to travel outside Italy (25%). What's in it for you?
