The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Bar Host/Hostess.
The Bar Host/Hostess will report to the Bar Manager and she/he will be part of a F&B department.
Seasonal, full-time contract role (40-hour working week, 5 working days, 2 consecutive days off).
Period: April - October 2025

**What you'll do**
- Ensure guests are welcomed in a warm and professional manner and supervise the entrance of the Bar.
Seat guests by finding a clean, available table; pulling out chairs; placing clean/current menu in front of guest.
- Supply guests with information regarding the Bar and the hotel
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests/questions
- Liaise with F&B team for special events and occasions
**What we're looking for**
- You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
Valid work permit for full time role (40 hours/week).
- Fluent in English and Italian, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of luxury hospitality F&B operations
- Experience in the same role in fine dining bar/restaurants would be an advantage
- A warm, people-oriented demeanour
