About the Role:
The Maintenance E&I Technician is a member of the plant maintenance team that supports factory operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
Perform electrical and mechanical system preventative maintenance troubleshooting and repair in a team environmentFollow Food Factory Good Management Practices GMPs to guarantee food safetyWork safely following all required safe practices including LOTO PPE risk predictions and work permitsUtilize SAP Plant Maintenance CMMS system to document activities such as planned work repair and future work neededProactively utilize available resources for troubleshooting and repair operators maintenance team electrical prints manuals OEM website resourcesProperly and safely utilize tools and diagnostic equipmentPerform all work in a professional and workman like mannerIdentify parts required for repairs utilizing available resources bills of material parts lists manuals mechanical assembly drawings etcPerform machine adjustments as required to support operationsExamples of commonly encountered electrical devices and systems include switchgear and power distribution devices MCCs safety circuits disconnects fuses PLC automation motors motor starters relays circuit breakers VFDs photo eyes prox switches relays motor starters temperature probes level sensors flow meters control valves and moreParticipate in and support the Ferrero Operational Excellence systemPerform additional duties as required Who we are looking for:
Associates degree maintenance related certificate or equivalent experience in Electrical Maintenance or Industrial Automation field3 years of prior experience as an Electrical Mechanical Technician OR 2year technical degree in Electrical Maintenance or Industrial Automation AND 1 year of prior experience as Electrical Mechanical TechnicianPrior work experience must include diagnostic troubleshooting repairing and replacing defective parts adjusting machinery and modifying units to meet proper operating specifications Must be able to work overtime when requiredAble to work with computers navigating systems recording information locating information necessary to perform the jobAble to use basic mathematical skills in order to perform machine and mechanical systems maintenance calibrations and repairsWorking knowledge in the area of pipefitting and riggingBasic knowledge of steam distribution systems and principlesWorking knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principlesAdvanced understanding of industrial electricity including motor basics and controlsAdvanced knowledge of industrial automation and PLC based controlsCritical thinking skillsHow to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
