Product Engineer  SCOPO DELLA POSIZIONE (PURPOSE) Assicurare la realizzazione degli obiettivi di sviluppo nuovi prodotti per gli specifici progetti assegnati garantendo l'esecuzione dei programmi nei tempi, costi e modi definiti. MANSIONI (JOBS) Per ciascuna job è prevista l'assegnazione di differenti responsabilità in base alle competenze e conoscenze possedute. Distinguiamo tra Design Engineer, Mechanical Product Engineer e Senior Product Engineer. 1. Garantire la progettazione e lo sviluppo di nuovi prodotti per i progetti assegnati Il Product Engineer ha la responsabilità di garantire la progettazione di nuovi prodotti in linea con le aspettative della clientela. I progetti possono essere di due tipologie: progetti completi standard che portano allo sviluppo di un prodotto nuovo ma all'interno di una famiglia esistente; progetti completi non standard che portano allo sviluppo di prodotti nuovi fino alla stesura dei disegni finali. Il Sales Department provvederà ad assegnare specifici progetti di sviluppo nuovo prodotto e a trasmettere attraverso la Scheda Prodotto tutte le informazione e le specifiche di base per consentire l'avvio della attività di progettazione in piena autonomia. Il Product Engineer provvederà ad aggiornare sullo stato di avanzamento lavori nel rispetto delle tempistiche pattuite e, nel caso di non rispetto, a condividerne di nuove. Il Product Engineer ha la responsabilità di definire soluzioni progettuali e proporre eventuali innovazioni in relazione al raggiungimento delle specifiche di prodotto, definire le caratteristiche funzionali e strutturali e realizzare le singole fasi di progettazione. In merito a questa specifica job le attività sono così suddivise: a) Design Engineer: assiste nella progettazione, sviluppo e valutazione di prodotti nuovi ed esistenti. Utilizza software CAD 3D per progettare, valutare e archiviare la documentazione del prodotto. E' autorizzato a rivedere le specifiche e i requisiti di progettazione sotto la direzione del Product Engineer. Assiste nella valutazione e risoluzione dei problemi di prodotto. Sviluppa distinte base, routers e analisi dei costi se necessario. Aggiorna regolarmente il Manager e i Product Engineers sui progressi e sullo stato dei progetti assegnati. b) Mechanical Product Engineer: progetta prodotti meccanici ed elettromeccanici sviluppando e testando specifiche e metodi. Valuta i prodotti e i sistemi progettando, conducendo programmi di ricerca e applicando principi di meccanica termoidraulica, idraulica e materiali. I prodotti meccanici ed elettromeccanici sono sviluppati studiando le esigenze del cliente; ricerca e verifica i metodi di produzione ed assemblaggio e i materiali; sollecita le osservazioni dagli operatori in produzione. c) Senior Mechanical Product Engineer: analizza problemi e cerca soluzioni. Controlla i progetti sviluppati dagli altri membri dello staff di Product Engineering. 2. Supporto nelle attività di prototipazione e testing Il Product Engineer segue l'analisi dei prototipi per la loro validazione. Se necessario si interfaccia con i colleghi dell'area Testing per condurre e monitorare le prove pratiche eventualmente richieste dal cliente per omologare o approvare il progetto. In merito a questa specifica job le attività sono assegnate specificatamente al Mechanical Product Engineer che conferma la capacità del prodotto e del sistema attraverso la fattibilità progettuale e i metodi di test. Prepara i report sui prodotti raccogliendo, analizzando e riassumendo le informazioni e le tendenze. 3. Gestione delle relazioni esterne e interne Gestisce le relazioni con la struttura tecnica del cliente dalle fasi iniziali, all'avanzamento del progetto, a quelle finali di omologa prodotto. In caso di necessità effettua anche assistenza tecnica presso il cliente. Il ruolo può prevedere l'interazione periodica con i colleghi delle filiali estere, nonché trasferte occasionali presso le filiali stesse. Con il supporto dei buyer, intrattiene relazioni con i fornitori per la definizione di materiali e componenti in fase di progettazione. Collabora con il Process Engineering per migliorie e innovazioni di processo sia derivanti da esigenze legate ai nuovi prodotti sia per innovazioni che possono portare a migliore efficienza produttiva. In merito a questa specifica job le attività sono così suddivise: b) Mechanical Product Engineer: fornisce informazioni tecniche e risponde alle domande e alla richieste ricevute. c) Senior Mechanical Product Engineer: collabora con altri ingegneri e professionisti; funge da collegamento con stakeholders interni e esterni. 4. Esecuzione dei calcoli degli elementi finiti Il Mechanical Product Engineer esegue l'analisi degli elementi finiti (FEA) statica e/o dinamica ed elabora calcoli relativi alle performances funzionali del prodotto da progettare. 5. Collaborazione in attività VA/VE Partecipa o coordina le attività di riduzione del costo del prodotto attraverso la metodologia VA/VE (Value analysis / Value Engineering) in collaborazione con le altre funzioni aziendali. L'avvio di attività VA/VE potrà essere richiesto dalla Direzione aziendale, dal Business Development, dal Sales Department oppure direttamente dalla clientela in ottica di partnership. Può essere assegnata sia al Mechanical Product Engineer che al Senior Mechanical Product Engineer. RELAZIONI ORGANIZZATIVE (ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP) ? Riferisce a: Product Engineering Manager ?
