You will be a key contributor to SiC Technology volume ramp-up in ST. The work location will be in the new mass-production fab in Catania for the manufacturing of SiC substrate wafers and devices. This facility will be a first of a kind in Europe for the production in volume integrating all steps in the production flow from SiC powder to final device.
Your main task will be to ensure a smooth startup and rumpup of the mass-production fab, in particular you will be a device engineer, primarily responsible for product Yield, process flow generation, parametric test and data analysis.
It is required to understand device functioning and failures mode to address appropriate corrective actions to the involved process areas.
The role also has a function of link between the fab and external functions such as quality, assembly, possibly giving technical support in discussions with customers if there were any complaints.
Junior profiles will be evaluated, with the following background and characteristics:
PhD or Master Degree in Electronic Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Physics
Experience in silicon or SiC processing and flow knowledge is a plus
Fluent in English language is a must
Good communicator, able to create good relationships and working harmoniously with people
Committed, persistent and curious
