Are you motivated to deal with strong technical complexity and problem solving?If you are looking to expand your professional career in the manufacturing engineering area, working in a dynamic and innovative environment, Sandvik Coromant is the right place for you.Shape the future together with usYour responsibilitiesSandvik Coromant is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the Technical Department in Rovereto Production Unit, with focus on power skiving production.In this role you will develop and implement capabilities and processes to ensure that costs, quality targets and compliance of production standards for power skiving are achieved, controlling, and ensuring that production schedules are me. You will contribute to developing processes and projects of power skiving machining to be introduced, update and improved, support creation of cnc programs, and test tooling machinery and manufacturing techniques.Your main tasks and responsibilities will be the following:Develop manufacturing and production processes that are reliable, cost-effective, and support the organisation's short and long-term business objectives.Drive and contribute to improvements to increase productivity, quality and cost of equipment, processes, work and best practice.Control and ensure that production schedules are met of the assigned production process.Develops machining process to guide production on how to machine the productCreates stable process to deliver quality work to productionWorks closely with production leaders and quality team to solve quality problemsTest and implement new tooling and machinery.Revise and implement new method/process/products and equipment in productionSupport creation of programsCreate, manage, and maintain standard cutting data, machining processes and sequences used in manufacturing processLead projects: create and maintain timeline and follow up the progress of the projects.Support local and global projects.Follow safety, health, and environmental procedures pertaining to company, legal, ISO and standardsSupport production (together with maintenance) to assure that the machines are functioning according to the desired level; monitor and control any needed TPM processes.Work with other plants and suppliers in identifying best practices that can be implemented in RoveretoActively engaged in continuous improvement projects.Provide training to support and educate the usage and understanding of established manufacturing standards or systems.About youWe are looking for an experienced engineer that has the motivation and passion to contribute and add value to ambitious technical projects in the power skiving machining, constantly focused on innovation and the future:Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience/educationRelevant application knowledge and experience in metal cutting manufacturing processes and cutting tool applications, specific knowledge from the gear machining area is a plusProject planning skills and organization; project control competences and reportingAnalytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail and commitment to quality solutions and customer serviceGood leadership skills in project management activitiesEffective communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively convey, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, info, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Teamwork: understanding the necessity and value of teamwork; ability to work effectively as part of a team.Good digital skills: Microsoft Office, PowerBi, Process Automation, Data analysis etc.Ability to work in a networked / matrix organizationHigh skills in communicating in Italian and good level of English, both verbally and in writingLocation:Rovereto -TN- (Italy)How to applySend your application to www.sandvik.com/careers by 28.06.2024Sandvik Coromant is an equal opportunity employer.
