Network Solutions Lead, IT Infrastructure and Operations Department This role is accountable for development and maintaining Network Service Area level technical objectives and development roadmap for the entire Recipharm group. As a Network Solutions Lead you govern designs, approving technical decisions and technology choices across the Network service area. The role leads virtual as well as local onsite network teams to ensure their designs and solutions are at the appropriate standard for the business and ensure Network Architectural Design patterns are correctly referenced. This is a full-time, permanent position and reports into Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
You are accountable and responsible for matching business needs with solution configuration options without violating business or internal IT architectural standards. The role consults a wide range of stakeholders to design, configure and deploy appropriate solutions that meet the business' needs and expectations. Furthermore, the Network Solutions Lead ensures the operational readiness of the services and solutions within established IT Service management framework. You perform functional analysis, followed by design, build, test, train, knowledge transfer and quality assurance activities. Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex operational issue as well as projects is also part of the job.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Between 3-5 years of experience in a global Solution Lead role in Networking Infrastructure
10 years plus of experience in IT networking environments; extensive theoretical and practical experience in configuration networking equipment and software based on standards across many vendors (IP, IPSEC, OSPF, BGP).
Ability to lead others in geo dispersed, multicultural organization.
Very solid skills in verbal and written communication (fluent English is must, other European language(s) is an added advantage)
Demonstrable proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting next generation firewalls, specifically Palo Alto, FortiGate and Cisco.
Deep knowledge of Routing & Switching and Wireless protocols and standards.
Proficiency in delivering and configuring WAN circuits, SD-WAN deployments, and LAN solutions.
Extensive experience with market leading vendors (Palo Alto, Cisco, FortiGate, HP, Aruba)
Working knowledge implementing VPN technologies including IPsec, SSL VPN, and encryption.
Relevant certifications, such as Cisco CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, PCSFE or equivalent.
Strong experience in administering a large-scale, highly distributed network.
Significant experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
Experience with cloud networking infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Ability to see details whilst keeping a big picture in mind.
Strong analytical skills
Ability to identify & drive improvements, lead others by example.
ITIL Foundation.

This is a global remote based role. Open for applicants with EU/UK citizenship, or with a valid work/residence permit and permanent residence in the UK, Sweden, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, or Portugal where Recipharm has presence.
