A philanthropic endeavor that truly embodies our corporate mission.Summary: The Director of Builder Services will be responsible for generating business through the sales channels by working with local, regional, and national Builders, Developers, Architects, Interior Designers, and Influencers in the home and light commercial space.
These relationships will create opportunities to position Nice products as standards and option upgrades within projects and will help to create business for our partner dealers.
This position will work closely with the sales managers to help place opportunities within the dealer network.Primary Responsibilities: Develop and maintain C-level builder relationships Responsible for managing their performance of direct reports, typically holding the position of Manager of Builder Services.
Responsible for managing sales into new home developments Work with contacts to design and position Nice products into existing and upcoming projects Educate contacts on technology trends and establish themselves as the industry expert within these accounts Work with the Sales Teams to place these projects within the Nice dealer network, while being sensitive to existing relationships that our dealers may have with our contacts Work with the RTS team to create system designs, and to provide the necessary training for contacts to help promote Nice products into their projects.
Attend industry events to create visibility and exposure for Nice products and to generate leads for new business opportunities.
Assists the Marketing Team in developing and fine-tuning Nice marketing plan and marketing materials to help promote the sale of Nice Technology within projects Spend time in the field with Nice Sales Teams communicating the Nice Business Development program and seeking opportunities to support dealers selling our products in existing projects Attend open house and project launch activities to show support to the partners who are supportive of Nice Maintain relationships with database to ensure customer satisfaction and keep competitors out Provide feedback on market trends and needs to Sales, Marketing, and Product Development Other Duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum of 10+ years of relevant sales experience and/or experience selling nationally to new home builders.Bachelor's degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Intermediate to advanced sales reporting utilizing CRM (i.e., Salesforce.com), and MS Office applications required.Proven ability to foster and develop Net New Customers, hunter mentality.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to make professional presentations and implement sales programs to meet company sales goals.Proven success of prospecting and creating relationships in the builder and construction market This individual must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic, self-confident with the ability to personally drive sales growth while strategically developing those same skills sets in others.Must be highly competent in relationship building, negotiation, organization, and technical sales skills.Ability to sell a technical premium product at a premium price in a competitive environment.Experience with selling solutions in a complex, multi-level sales channel.Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed.
