Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry specializing in cutting-edge quality control solutions, is seeking an experienced and motivated R&D Engineer with a focus on Machine Vision Technology. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about innovation, enjoys problem-solving, and has a strong technical background in developing machine vision software solutions.

You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and refining vision systems that enable accurate quality control for a variety of material components. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with advanced machine vision tools such as OpenCV and programming languages like C and C++.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement machine vision systems for quality control in manufacturing processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electronic engineers, to integrate software and hardware solutions. Utilize C/C++ and OpenCV to develop and optimize machine vision algorithms. Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and validation of software solutions to ensure high precision and performance. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine vision technology and identify opportunities for innovation. Support project rollouts and client implementations in various manufacturing facilities. Travel to the client site in Bergamo 3-4 days per week for hands-on collaboration. Key Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. 3+ years of experience in R&D roles, ideally within Machine Vision or related fields. Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages. Hands-on experience with OpenCV and other machine vision libraries. Solid understanding of image processing, computer vision algorithms, and real-time application development. Experience working in manufacturing environments or quality control systems is a strong plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset. Willingness to travel regularly to Bergamo.
