No Job Description: Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Passive Safety Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. Accountabilities Ability on the use of finite element method Ability on the use of requirement management with DOORS; Ability of performing static and fatigue analyses on carshells and bogies structures of railway vehicles Ability to carry out passive safety analyses Collaborate with the sub-project groups (internal and external) and ensure the development of the assigned project part; Required Skills/ Knowledge Experience to perform the aforementioned tasks as described in section above Availability for short domestic and overseas trips. Desired Skills/ Knowledge Knowledge on EN 12663 , EN 15227 and EN 13749 Knowledge on TSI LOc&PAs Knowledge of Hyperworks, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, Kisssoft, Ansa and DOORS softwares Analytic approach Team-working attitude Flexibility Result orientation Education / Qualifications
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Languages
Knowledge of written and spoken English at least B2 level
