Purpose of the job The Senior Account Manager will work alongside the Account Director / Regional Account Director to ensure solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets.
This individual also needs to be a strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategies of the account while managing the tactical components of running the daily business. Balance daily support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans.
The perfect candidate will have either senior agency experience or production management experience with a proven track record for delivering client solutions and nurturing relationships.
Key Responsibilities Delivering operational excellenceDelivering effective growth strategies and managing the opportunities for these ClientsManaging and developing key client relationshipsManaging and owning the project cycle and leading the pitchAchieve and excel growth targetsMedia and discipline neutral, proactively finding opportunity by looking for the best way of maximising delivery for the brand and driving this opportunity with our ClientsWorking with the internal studio and strategic suppliers to deliver the best solutions, influencing client thinking to produce outstanding resultsAttending WIPs and meetings, taking and influencing key briefs from clients showing a clear understanding of requirements and cascading to local teams globallyDeliver excellent service to clients with a professional 'can do' attitude at all timesDevelop and maintain excellent relationships with key contactsProviding technical input and advice on projects as required to achieve high quality standardsKnowledge, Skills + Experience Strong Client Service experience and has built credible customer relationships at senior levelSound financial reporting and forecasting experienceGood understanding of Marketing Services concepts, with experience in FMCG or Consumer Health an advantageNaturally builds and maintains rapport with the clientComfortable analysing and interpreting financial data and producing accurate reportsWorks collaboratively with others in pursuit of team goalsIdentifies opportunities for continuous improvementTakes a logical and systematic approach to workTakes a flexible approach to work and encourages others to do soStrong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders and team membersAbility to understand current/changing business strategy and participate in delivering itCan identify business issues and develop risk mitigation strategiesAbility to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environmentExceptional communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skillsStrong presentation skills, ability to present convincingly to a senior audienceExcellent analysis and critical thinking skillsWe thank all applicants in advance for their interest in this position.
