In this role, your will part of an international team of Product Specialists, located in several countries, leading products made in different parts of the world, which save people life from electrical injuries. You will be the one with the full overview, from identifying business opportunities, kicking off activities with R&D department and launching to our sales networks.You will report to the Product Manager of People Protection DIN Rail Devices, Global Product Group Energy Distribution, Division ELSB
Your responsibilitiesManaging people protection devices from both a technical and a business perspective, establishing an international network, and representing the voice of the customer within our organizationPerforming in-depth market analysis (trends, competition, standardization) and identifying customer requirements, value proposition, and unlocking new opportunities for ABBTranslating customer needs into technical requirements and taking the lead within the product development or cost streamlining processActing as interface between global markets and internal functions such as Sales, R&D, SCM etcTaking the full responsibility for the profitability of the product ranges managed and of their development in the futureInitiating and driving go to market strategy, such as launch planning and product implementation in conjunction with global sales and marketingManaging the full Life cycle of respective product portfolioYour backgroundBachelor's Degree or above, major in Electrical-, Mechanical-, Mechatronics engineering or relevant disciplineMarket knowledge of low voltage energy distribution- products, applications and solutions, such as DIN Rail components More than 5 years' experience in Product Management or Product Marketing are preferredProven ability to meet deadlines and get results with many priorities and under tight timeframesLeadership through influence, problem solving, team-working, communication, result orientation complete the profileFluency in English is a must, both written and spoken More about usABB Smart Buildings digitally transforms commercial, industrial, and residential buildings for the highest comfort, efficiency, safety, and security - enhancing quality of life in buildings of the future through safe, smart, and sustainable electrification solutions, services, and products.We look forward to receiving your application.
