Partner with the best As a Customer Application Engineer, you'll own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation. You will conduct activities to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer.
Responsibilities: Providing technical expertise and developing technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the pre-ITO (requisition) process while interfacing with the commercial team.Providing technical leadership for pump BOP, Control & Instrumentation, supporting mechanical AE team.Preparing equipment and system configurations, defining and issuing functional requirements for solutions, managing technical alignment with Customer and BH Sub-Suppliers.Managing technical ownership to ensure that project/opportunity operational guarantees are met (i.e. output, efficiency, communications, reliability, etc.)Including 'ITO': Technical analysis of client need: definition and optimization of the products; scope (description); schedule; industrial scheme; cost, considering contract and internal policies and procedures.Managing documentation of technical specifications & costing elements for further contract execution phases. This also includes OTR part where engineers work on customizing the products and implementing it for specific customer needs.Executing routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributing to technological developments in teams under supervision.Working together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.Working within a team setting and/or under guidance.Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
Have a BSc in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with proven experience in Customer Application Engineering.Demonstrate exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills, being fluent both in Italian and English.Show good problem-solving, process improvement, and analytical skills along with interpersonal and leadership skills.Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously, showing organizational ability.Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
