Job Description
Supply Chain Engineer (Suppliers) Temp 1 year
This is a key role where you will oversee the downstream supply chain to deliver great customer service and operational excellence by implementing an effective strategic and tactical production planning methodology. You will take full ownership of the customer experience from order placement to the delivery of the products, on time.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing the work orders cycle daily through production, creating master production plans by optimizing machine efficiencies, resource availability, and shift patterns, and proposing necessary adjustments in operational requirements. You will manage all the goods stocking policies, inventory levels, and engineering change requests, providing consistent customer service with deliverable lead times. You will also migrate data analysis information.
In this role, you will manage the product master data within the system, handle the work orders cycle daily through production, resolve issues as they arise, and facilitate internal supply chain meetings reporting on time delivery, inventory levels, and schedule adherence.
This role would suit a determined problem-solver who can build relationships with suppliers and work collaboratively to achieve the supply chain requirements while demonstrating excellent computer program skills.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
Educated to degree level or with appropriate workplace experience/qualification.
Strong data analysis expertise.
Proficient in common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluent in English.
The Successful Candidate:
Excellent relationship management with the ability to work collaboratively.
Able to think strategically and translate the strategy into operational performance.
APICS certified.
Six Sigma Green Belt trained and/or Lean equivalent.
