Her/His responsibilities will includeprocessing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, creating and maintaining an inventory, quality assurance and liaising with Production & Operations teams and managementStrong relations and frequent contacts with staff across departments to forecast the needs of the business and make purchase decisions based on demand.He/she is involved in :Research, select and purchase quality products and materialsBuild relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricingProcess requisitions and update management on status of ordersUpdate inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levelsArrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely deliveryAnalyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisionsCoordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as requiredAssess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and managementCompliance with Panasonic's Policies, Processes, and ProceduresPartaking of all corporate requirements e.g. ISM.
