**Contract**: Full-time, initially a 12-month fixed-term contract
**Salary Range**: €48,000 to €53,000

**Position Overview**: We are seeking a Head of Human Rights Impact Division who, in line with the values, mission, and policies of the Global Movement, will optimize the impact of Amnesty International Italy's (AIIT) activities in promoting and defending human rights.
This includes developing relationships and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
The role encompasses the following responsibilities and activities:
- **Strategic Direction Contribution**: Actively contribute to defining the organization's strategic direction in collaboration with the General Director, offering specific human rights expertise and perspectives.
- **Coordination and Guidance**: Coordinate and guide the activities of the units within the HRI Division using a participative and inclusive style, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and values to maximize AIIT's impact on human rights.
- **Resource Allocation**: Ensure that the overall allocation of human, financial, and material resources within the HRI Division is functional to achieving the organization's goals.
- **Human Resource Management**: Manage human resources by fostering the development of skills and competencies needed to tackle a challenging context and drive change.
- **Strategy and Action Plan Development**: Contribute to designing and implementing the organization's strategies and action plans related to the Division's themes, ensuring consistency in the work of the units that comprise the Division.
- **External Relations Development**: Develop relationships with external partners, governmental institutions, and other civil society organizations to promote the organization's mission and objectives, and to identify collaboration and cooperation opportunities.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: Degree in humanities, preferably with further specialization in human rights.
- **Experience**: At least ten years of professional experience in senior roles within civil society organizations with similar responsibilities, preferably in international movements/organizations.
- **Experience in Campaign Management**: Fifteen years of experience managing national awareness campaigns, advocacy, human rights education, and activism (volunteer management).

**Technical Skills**:
- **Solid Knowledge and Experience**: In the field of human rights protection and promotion, both nationally and internationally.
- **Strategy Development and Implementation**: Ability to develop and implement effective strategies in various areas, including awareness campaigns, advocacy, human rights education, and activism (volunteer management).
- **Identifying New Collaboration Areas**: Ability to identify new collaboration areas, emerging challenges, and trends, and find corresponding solutions.
- **Complex Activity Management**: Ability to manage and plan complex activities, allocate resources, and monitor progress towards set goals.
- **Effective Communication**: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with various stakeholders including team members, external partners, media, and the general public.
