The RoleAs a Tech Lead, you will be involved in product design and development (IDP and Marketplace), implementation of new components, and evolution and maintenance of existing components, already used in production by our customers.
We are looking for a Tech Lead to join our Mia-Platform group. Specifically, the person will work as a Tech Lead on our Mia-Care R&D team.
About Mia-Care Mia Care's product consists of a platform (IDP) for the design, development, and management of the entire lifecycle of SaMD (Software as a medical device) an Health Software and a Marketplace of ready-to-use components, to reduce the time to market in the implementation of the most common use cases in the Healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities Leading the technical team in the design, development, evolution, and maintenance of the product, ensuring adherence to set specifications and timelines within the roadmap;
Supporting the Product Owner and the Delivery Manager in planning activities and managing the team to achieve goals;
Mentoring and coaching for junior members of the team;
Conducting market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in the healthcare industry, embedding best practices into the product;
Participating in the agile development process, ensuring the incremental release of new features and refinements, considering regulatory and technical requirements specific to the healthcare industry;
Collaborating with other Mia-Care and Mia-Platform teams, to understand and meet end-user needs, ensuring an excellent user experience.
+3 years of experience in a tech-leading role;
Previous experience in agile working environments;
Previous experience in software development (backend and frontend). Particularly, knowledge of the following languages: JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript; Java/Kotlin or other object-oriented languages;
Knowledge of HTTP protocol and knowledge of REST architecture for API development;
Experience in developing and deploying products built with microservices architecture;
Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes;
Knowledge and relevant experience in using MongoDB and, at least, one SQL database;
Experience in the automated unit, integration, and e2e testing on interfaces (e.g., Cypress, Playwright);
Product envisioning skills and knowledge of methodologies, such as User Story Mapping;
Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and work in a collaborative environment;
Results and problem-solving orientation with a focus on product quality and end-user experience.
Nice to have Knowledge of some of the technologies and systems used in the healthcare industry such as EHR, RIS, LIS, PACS, DTx, SaMD, and some of the most popular standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM;
Knowledge of the most important standards for SaMD development;
Previous experience in SaMD development: IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, IEC 82304;
Prior experience with the Fastify framework;
Knowledge of TDD, DDD development techniques;
Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira.
