Description :Become part of our international team and we will shape the energy transition togetherAt Hitachi Energy Power Transformers, we are proud of our world-class products and solutions and our remarkable history of combining tradition and innovation.Our six transformer factories in Europe guarantee the highest quality craftsmanship.What sets us apart from other companies is the spirit of our international team - a mix of fun, passion and a commitment to integrity.We believe in helping each other and always strive to add value.If you are looking for a structured yet dynamic work environment where your expertise and talent is valued, you've come to the right placeFor our Quality function, we are looking for a Quality Manager Power Transformers - Europe, who will be accountable to thoroughly drive quality excellence end-to-end in our value chain across Hub Europe.The Product Line Quality Manager will report directly to the Hub Europe Quality Manager and will be located in one of the production facilities: Bad Honnef (Germany), Cordoba (Spain), Monselice (Italy), Ludvika (Sweden), Lodz (Poland), Vaasa (Finland).Your responsibilitiesLead Quality performance in the factories, providing governance for all Factory Quality Managers in our Power Transformer factoriesAccountable for quality performance towards achievement of Quality targets on Product Line levelAccountable for achievement of the quality improvements in the factoriesLead key improvement projects supporting the quality goals.Support Factory teams by providing Lean 6 Sigma competences.Implement Quality System, common Quality Initiatives within PLLead cost out projects (quality related projects, Hard OPQ cost reduction, etc.)Accountable for continuous improvement measures such as Lean Six SigmaResponsible for deploying Lean Six Sigma methodology and Certification process across the factoriesAccountable for development and deployment of local factory QPIs and execute a regular follow up with factoriesPart of Power Transformer management teamAddress challenge and activities for Quality improvement, coordinating cross-functional Quality Specialists in Engineering and Marketing & Sales (HUB Quality End-to-End strategy) in the Product LineYour backgroundMaster's degree in engineering or correlated relevant disciplineA previous hands-on experience in Transformers, an electro-mechanical or related industry on a role as Quality ManagerDemonstrated strong drive and leadership in a Quality Management position in a manufacturing environment, for a minimum of 7 yearsExpertise on the delivery of effective and accurate problem solving with solid Root Cause Analysis using different methodologiesStrong exposure to processes and methods such as APQP, Lean 6 Sigma, etc.and tools such as Ishikawa, FTA, FMEA, QFD, etc.Conversational with Quality international standards such as, but not limited to, ISO 9001, IEEE or IEC.Excellent interpersonal & multi-cultural as well as good soft skills (communication, negotiation & influencing), networker, business savvy, result and action oriented, resilient, with fluency in English.The Product Line Quality Managers is expected to travel on demand, in average 30% of the timeLocal language skills are a plusBenefitsDepending on the countryFlexible working hours including the possibility of working from home
