Turnaround Consultant

A client of ours who is a leading agricultural business are looking for a Restructuring Led to help turnaround an underperforming part of the business.
This role is playing a pivotal role in optimising cost structures and enhancing the profitability of the wider business.
You will beresponsible for analysing and improving the cost of product, cost to serve, and margins being made.
This role requires a deep understanding of the entire supply chain, logistics, and freight processes.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in Italian and have a strong background in restructuring and cost management with ideally some experience in Agriculture or a similar business.
Key Responsibilities – Cost Analysis: Evaluate and analyse the cost of products, including production, logistics, and freight costs.
Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Margin Improvement: Assess current margins and develop strategies to enhance profitability without compromising product quality or service levels.
Supply Chain Optimisation: Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
Restructuring Initiatives: Lead restructuring projects aimed at improving financial performance, including process reengineering and organizational changes.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics providers, and senior management, to drive cost-saving initiatives.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, outlining findings, recommendations, and progress on restructuring initiatives.
Experience Needed – Fluency in Italian and English is essential.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
A master's degree is preferred.
Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and freight operations.
Proficiency in financial analysis and cost modelling.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and driving organisational change.
